CENTRAL VALLEY

EDUCATION JUSTICE FORUM

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 17, 2019 - 9AM-3PM

THE FALLS EVENT CENTER, 4105 W Figarden Dr, Fresno, CA 93722

Did you know that the Central Valley has the highest rates of in-and-out of school suspensions of all the regions and counties in California that disproportionately impacts the poor, students with disabilities, LGBTQ youth and youth of color? How shall we critically examine the school to prison pipeline that cuts off students from the positive interactions of schools and funnels our students from school to the juvenile and adult criminal justice system and pushes them to prison?

JOIN US!

Youth (16-24) , parents, community members from Kern, Kings, Fresno, Madera, Merced, South Sacramento, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tulare County are invited to attend and participate in the forum. Registration includes continental breakfast and lunch. Registration is FREE.

Each event contains a link for more information, and for RSVPing if applicable. If you’re a CVMB partner, you can send us information including a link about your related public events that other RSVP partners should know about.
